Recorded modules, guides and kits

A module, or a guide or kit bought on its own, is a one-time purchase. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. A module has a set period of access, and access ends when the period ends. What we sell states the period for each module before the module goes on sale. The free December edition of the Jan. 1 module costs nothing, so there is nothing to cancel.

Subscriptions and licenses for organizations

Law alerts (including the Launch offer), board modules and association licenses are prepaid for their term. They do not renew automatically. About 60 days before the term ends, we send a renewal invoice. If it is not paid by the end date, access ends. There is no penalty and no further charge.

To end a term early, tell us. Refunds follow the refund policy: full within 30 days, and for any part of the term we did not deliver.

Physician in the Loop Pro

Pro renews automatically each year on the date you joined, for one more year, unless you cancel first. We charge the card you used. We email you a reminder 30 days before each renewal. It states the date, the amount and how to cancel.

You can cancel online at any time. Use the Cancel Pro link on your account page, or the link in your receipt or in the reminder. Each opens Stripe's customer portal, where you cancel without writing to us. You can also use the contact form at https://physicianintheloop.org/contact/ or email [email protected]. Cancel before the renewal date and we do not charge you again. Your membership stays active to the end of the year you paid for.

Cancelling does not by itself refund a charge. To get a refund, ask within 30 days of the first payment or of a renewal charge (see Refunds and disputes). A refund ends your membership at once.

Briefs and claim checks

These are one-time orders made to order. You can cancel before work starts and receive a full refund. We tell you in writing when work starts. After that, see Refunds and disputes.

If we end a product

If we stop publishing a product you have paid for, we tell you by email and refund the part of the term that was not delivered.

How to cancel

Physician in the Loop Pro: use the Cancel Pro link on your account page or the link in your receipt. Your cancellation takes effect at once, so Pro does not renew, and we email you a confirmation. You keep Pro to the end of the year you paid for.

We confirm each cancellation sent this way in writing within 2 business days. A cancellation takes effect from the time you sent it, even if our reply comes later.
