Where the plan names technology
Nevada's project narrative creates a Rural Health Innovation & Technology (RHIT) Grant for telehealth, remote patient monitoring, electronic health records, cybersecurity and "modern digital health and AI tools," and says "app-based conversational AI can provide coaching, reminders, and education." The plan limits consumer-facing AI tools to no more than half of the RHIT grant's available funds each year and sets a target that "for each rural region, at least one AI health tool grant will be awarded per FY, starting FY2027."

The program pages that the Governor's Office releases link to, at www.nvha.nv.gov/RHTP, including a list of funded projects, refused automated access, so open funding rounds and recipient lists could not be read; the rounds above come from Nevada Medicaid provider announcements. The Governor's Office says "final award amounts and project totals remain subject to change" while negotiations and reviews of proposed expenditures continue. A July 29 Governor's Office release headlined "Nevada Invests Over $50 Million to Strengthen Rural Healthcare Workforce and Expand Access Across the State" carries the text of the June 9 announcement, so no workforce award is listed.
