Where the plan names technology
Ohio's plan says "Ohio is primed to expand the use of EMRs" because the state has "a fully integrated health information exchange (HIE) in place," and its Rural Health Innovation Hubs cover "telemedicine and remote patient monitoring, interoperability of data systems." The plan's text does not name AI. The program page sets a technology goal to "support access to remote care, improve data sharing, strengthen cybersecurity, and invest in emerging technologies," and its list of eligible activities, which mirrors CMS's list of approved uses of funds, includes "artificial intelligence."

ODH's solicitation list gives opening and closing dates but no amounts or status; statuses here are set from those dates, and the Pharmacy Initiative is shown as awarded on the strength of the governor's Aug. 26 "pharmacy initiative awards." Seven of the 15 listings, covering five solicitations, are posted on OhioBuys, the state's procurement site, which could not be read for this tracker; those rows link to ODH's list. The Dental Access Collaborative solicitation closes Oct. 13, 2026. ODH told applicants for the networks and hubs round that "The selected agency will be notified of funding in October." The OhioSEE posting gives two closing dates, Aug. 27 and Sept. 3, 2026.
