- Application windows are those the Department of Health announced on May 15, 2026; its grant portal, and the TennCare request for applications with its schedule of events, could not be read to confirm dates, amounts or eligibility. The department said it aims to commit its first year of funding by CMS's Oct. 30, 2026, deadline, and its program page says Budget Period 1 funds can be spent through Sept. 30, 2027. No awards beyond the 53 HART projects had been announced when checked. The program page also lists competitive project lines for rural non-emergency transportation, healthy built environments, and policy, systems and environmental grants, with no dates or amounts; these were not in the May 15 schedule.
